San Diego Pulse radio ratings Jan-Mar 1970

KGB and KCBQ were kicking butt in San Diego back in 1970 according to the Pulse ratings for Jan-Mar 1970. KGB leading KCBQ overall by a slight margin; but before the ratings book came out, KGB-AM would "recycle" and go to an album-oriented format. After his huge success in closing down the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas last month, the Monkees needed somebody with a hat to add to the show (Mike Nesmith said no) so to open the show in Cabazon, the choice was the comedy stylings of BILLY THE EARL!
