When Billy The Earl isn't buying Dick Tracy crap on Ebay, he's buying Green Lantern crap on Ebay....Here's Billy at the Junior Journeyman Superhero Camp in Stockton last month.....Yeah, good luck with that, Billy...don't scare the kids, or the listeners...would you dare to let your Grandpa listen to Billy The Earl all night long on the Giant X, 147 KXOA? He might just pee his pants..   http://147kxoa.com/  I don't think KHJ would have put this pic on one of their surveys, Billy, if you know what I'm talkin' about....

KFRC San Francisco 12-6-67 music survey

KEWB was over by 1967, that left KFRC and KYA to duke it out in San Francisco. Here's KFRC Big 30 issue #80 from 1967. Image courtesy of California Aircheck http://californiaaircheck.com

KGB 13-K SanDiego music survey 4-24-81Gary Cocker

Back in the 60's it was 136/KGB and Boss Radio under the Bill Drake consultancy. They dropped Top 40 in 1972 but returned in 1979 as "13-K" under John Lander, which worked again for a few years until Top 40 radio on AM was pretty much dead in San Diego. This 13-K survey has a picture of Gary Cocker who have previously worked in LA at K-100 and San Francisco at KYA. Image courtesy of California Aircheck http://californiaaircheck.com
