KIST Santa Barbara 1965

Here are parts of a 1965 sales sheet from Top 40 KIST in Santa Barbara, including pictures of the KIST DJs. Little bitty KIST on 1340 was quoting the January 1965 Pulse as placing them "by far Number ONE" in Santa Barbara. KIST had a great signal considering their tower was atop the building they were in at 735 State Street in downtown Santa Barbara. Images courtesy California Aircheck http://californiaaircheck.com
